SKIN -YOUNG is a project that focuses on Christian young people from international churches between 18 and 35 years in Rotterdam and that builds a network of (Christian) young people who want to develop next to their home, school and church environment. A network to stimulate talent, creativity and ideas which can lead to new initiatives and co-creations within the community.
The goal of SKIN-YOUNG is that Christian young people get the opportunity to work on a healthy future in which they can participate in society. The starting points are a talent approach, peer to peer support, a youth initiative and the use of experience expertise. Young people work on their professional as well as on their personal and spiritual development. Personal leadership is also discussed, the young people are given the opportunity to grow in a safe environment. In addition, they can contact the SKIN YOUNG network for various personal help questions about, for example, psychological or financial obstacles. The ‘for and by’ young people is reflected in the support method.
