So do you have anything lying around that is clean and tidy and can be used again? Then it is very welcome! You can send the clothes to Detention Centre Rotterdam for the attention of Tomas van Driel or Joseph Ekpo. Another possibility is to bring it to the Detention Centre and to arrange it in advance with Tomas van Driel or Joseph Ekpo. Tomas is present on Tuesdays and Fridays, you can make an appointment by sending an email to t.v.driel@dji.minjus.nl. Joseph Ekpo is present on Mondays and Thursdays, to make an appointment send an e-mail to joseph.ekpo@dji.minjus.nl.
Mayor calls on churches to ring their bells!
In view of the current (contact) restrictive measures, (large) festivities and gatherings cannot take place this New Year’s Eve. The proposers of the motion hope that the ringing of the (church) bells in our city can be a sign of hope and a new beginning for many Rotterdammers. And that in this way the action will contribute to unity and connection in Rotterdam.
Get the vaccin
The board of SKIN-Rotterdam calls on all leaders of international churches to take their responsibility and be an example in following the government measures and calling on people to get vaccinated and also to take the booster vaccination. You can also help people to make the online appointment (e.g. elderly people) or go along with people who have vaccin fears. There is a lot of information available. If you cannot find what you are looking for or if you have any questions, please contact us. We are in direct contact with the GGD and other sources of information.
