The law regarding the Donor Register changed on 1 July 2020. In the new Donor Register, you will be able to state whether or not you wish your organs and body tissues to be given to a patient after your death. This could include your kidney, lungs or skin. If you do not register a choice, ‘No objections to organ donation’ will be noted next to your name in the Register. This means that your organs may be given to a patient after your death. You can register your choice at www.donorregister.nl. If you have already entered your choice, you do not need to take any further action.

You can find more information in English on the English website.
