Does your church run a food bank or help people who are struggling financially? If so, you may be eligible for SKIN-Rotterdam’s “Help Churches Help” Emergency Fund!

Apply for a grant from the Emergency Fund

Churches affiliated with SKIN-Rotterdam can submit an application to the “Help Churches Help” Emergency Fund until September 17. Through this emergency fund, we support churches that are committed to helping people with financial difficulties. Read more about the Emergency Fund here and submit an application.

Churches that submit an application also join the “Help Churches Help” working group. In this working group, churches share knowledge and experiences, and we discuss how churches can best support people facing financial difficulties.

“Help Churches Help” Meeting: Debt Assistance
The next meeting of the working group is on September 14. This evening will focus on debt counseling and debt administration. How does debt counseling work? What does financial administration entail? And what can your church do when someone in debt comes to you for help? We’ll also discuss current developments, such as the shortened debt restructuring period and initiatives that help families and young people get out of debt.
