Meeting For Youth Leaders
Children and adolescents are at a vulnerable stage in their lives. Whether at school, on the street or with friends, they may encounter situations where others overstep their boundaries, especially if they don’t know how to make them clear. The pressure on young people is palpable, whether at school or at home, in church and beyond. There are expectations on them everywhere.
As youth leaders and key figures in the church, we have a unique opportunity to support young people in understanding and stating their boundaries. During this evening, experts from the Who Am I Foundation will provide us with the necessary tools to help children and youth set and communicate their boundaries. We will also learn how to recognize and respect the boundaries and signals of others.
How do we teach children and youth to manage their boundaries and desires? What do we need to know as youth leaders to support parents and youth in our church in this regard? These are questions we will discuss with each other. There will be room to share experiences and learn from each other.
