The City of Rotterdam plans to further expand paid parking to areas outside the ring road starting at the end of this year. On-street parking rates will also increase. The final decision has yet to be made.

This could have major consequences for churches. Churchgoers who drive to church will face additional parking costs, for example during church services and other activities. Has this been sufficiently taken into account, and are there possible solutions for churches and their visitors?

On Tuesday evening, September 22, there will be an opportunity to speak on this matter at the City of Rotterdam. During this event, no further explanation of the plans will be provided; the focus is specifically on giving you the chance to express your opinions and concerns.

SKIN-Rotterdam would like to join several church leaders and churchgoers in taking advantage of this opportunity to have a say and be present in the public gallery.
