DESCRIPTION:Serve the City is part of the Samen 010 Foundation and on behalf of Samen 010 and SKIN-Rotterdam we would like to invite you to our annual Diaconal Day, this year on Saturday, September 28 in the Opstandingskerk at Lisplein 1, 3037 AP Rotterdam (Noord). This day will last from 10:00 to 14:00 and includes lunch.\nFor whom\nThe diaconal day is intended for new deacons, for deacons who have been around for some time, but also for church members with an interest in diaconal work. If you know people in your congregation who are interested in this day, please forward the invitation to them!\nPrograms\n09.45 am: walk-in with coffee and tea\n10.15 am: opening and welcome\n10.30 am: start first round of workshops\n11.45 hrs: break with common lunch\n12.35 p.m.: second round of workshops\n13.50 hrs: plenary closing\n14.00 hrs: end\nWorkshops:\nPoverty on the track\nAs a diaconate, how do you reach people with financial concerns? But also what do you help them the most with?\nLoneliness\nHow can you start the conversation about loneliness? How do you meet people in your neighborhood who are lonely?\nDiaconate across church walls (Given by SKIN)\nBe inspired by two churches talking about how they are meaningful in the neighborhood.
